Abstract:

The principles and criteria for similarity in choosing the scale of the model for studying the work of corrugated trays are outlined. To ensure the similarity of the flow of a turbulent flow with a free surface, in a quadratic resistance zone, it is necessary to ensure: a) a geometric similarity of the model, b) provide a Froude number condition, and c) ensure the satisfaction of the roughness.
